What is Six Side Seal©?

Six Side Seal© is a UV cured urethane moisture barrier seal coating that covers every surface of each piece of wood. Unlike most hardwood products that are just sealed on top, our products with the Six Side Seal© are sealed on all six sides of each piece of wood. This technology reduces the likelihood of cupping, warping, cracking, surface stains, and other changes that can diminish the quality of hardwood flooring over time. Another great benefit is that it contains anti-mold, anti-mildew, and anti-bacterial properties that suppress allergens in the home.

Environmentally Friendly

As part of our commitment to improving the world we live in, we are dedicated to providing flooring products that are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and made from sustainably harvested sources. We also use unbiased third-party certification agencies to verify that all of our raw materials are legally procured.

Engineered Flooring

Engineered hardwood flooring is made from 100% real hardwood. Each plank consists of several layers of wood core adhered to a hardwood surface top layer in a cross-grain configuration for enhanced stability. Engineered hardwood flooring is more moisture resistant than solid hardwood flooring, which is why it is often the preferred choice for basements, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Solid Flooring

Solid hardwood flooring is made from a single piece of 100% real hardwood that is typically ¾” thick. With a 5mm usable surface layer, solid hardwood flooring may be sanded and refinished several times throughout the life of the flooring. Choose from a variety of species, finishes, widths, and options to match your style.

Above/On/Below Grade

The different levels of your home are called grade levels. The three basic grade levels are on-grade, above-grade, and below-grade. On-grade refers to flooring that sits at ground level. Above-grade refers to flooring that is located higher than ground level. Below-grade refers to flooring that is located lower than ground level.
