DO       

• Put mats at all entry doors and sinks.
• The legs of all furniture and chairs should have non-staining felt pads or non-pigmented floor protectors on them. This is an easy way to catch dirt and avoid scratching your floor.

• Area rugs are recommended in high traffic areas.

• Felt rug pads are recommended under all area rugs.

• Use Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner.

• Use a vacuum cleaner with the beater bar disengaged.

Also, remembering that levels of your home that are below grade are more susceptible to moisture fluctuations. For these areas, it is recommended to use engineered hardwoods because they are more stable than solid hardwoods.
